This intricate Butterfly brooch was made by Tasmanian Artist Claire Badcock. Badcock used free machine embroidery and thread painting techniques to create this unique brooch. This feature piece is 12.5cm wide, and the box is made from hand made paper. The butterfly is a Meadow Argus, Junonia villida, a common garden butterfly.
