The Terms and Conditions below stipulate the terms and conditions for sales directly from The Shop in the Bush.

Pricing Policy

All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax).

Shipping and Delivery Policy

We deliver products Australia wide using Australia Post for most of the smaller orders and larger orders may be shipped with TNT, Toll, Star Track or other such couriers. Orders are usually dispatched within 1 business day and shipping times are estimated at between 2-7 business days depending on your location within Australia.

Express Shipping
The Shop in the Bush will Express ship if requested. You will be required to pay the difference in cost of standard shipping to express shipping.

Shipping within Australia and abroad
The Shop in the Bush will ship goods nationally for free and internationally at cost. International postage charges will vary depending on size and weight of item.

Customer Service Policy
The Shop in the Bush is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We pride ourselves on integrity and we are here to make sure your shopping experience is exceptional.

Privacy Policy
The Shop in the Bush is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information, we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your orders and to personalise your shopping experience with us. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes.

Return for Refund – 10 Day Money Back Guarantee

If the product is not defective and is not classed as a warranty claim you may return the product within 10 days.  The terms of this include:

  • The product must be returned in its original condition.
  • The product must not have been abused. (Including but not limited to damaged, stained, dirty, malformed or scratched beyond its original condition).

The customer can drop off said item(s) in person during business hours to save on freight. Please refer to the operating hours on the Contact Us Page.

A refund will be issued by The Shop in the Bush management within 2 business days of the goods being received.

Warranty Procedure
All warranty claims processed by The Shop in the Bush follow the following process:

We will endeavour to investigate the fault/issue conclusively by email or phone. If this is not possible, we may ask for the item to be returned for further inspection.  After this inspection, The Shop in the Bush may offer the customer Repair/Replace/Discount or Refund depending on the findings of the investigation.

Beyond 10 days of date of purchase.
At discretion of The Shop in the Bush management, we may, after determining the issue/fault, offer the customer Repair/Replace or Discount depending on circumstances.

Warranty Coverage
Freight:
 The Shop in the Bush will pay for all warranty returns.
Abuse/Fair Wear and Tear: If goods have been abused, not used for the intended purpose, modified, or the instructions on the website have not been followed, the products may not be covered under warranty.  Fair wear and tear is not covered under warranty.
