Description
This Antique book is titled “The Builder’s Jewel”, written by Langley in 1753. The extended title is “The Builder’s Jewel: or, the Youth’s Instructor, and Workman’s Remembrancer. Explaining short and easy rules, for drawing and working the five orders of columns….block and cantaliver cornices…..illustrated by upwards of 200 examples.” It was published by B and T Langley London, and is 11.5cm by 14.5cm. Aside from wear typical of a book this old, it is in very good condition.
